Dal 2006 Arte Laguna Prize è il concorso internazionale aperto a molteplici discipline – arti visive, performative, multimediali, paesaggistiche e digitali – per la valorizzazione dell’arte contemporanea e la mappatura del suo stato attuale. È stato creato per dare l’occasione ai talenti dell’arte, più o meno giovani, di emergere, di farsi notare dal grande pubblico e dalla giuria composta da importanti nomi del panorama artistico contemporaneo, oltre che a consentire un democratico confronto tra artisti internazionali.
